We are delighted to share that Hodgson Sealants has been shortlisted for not one, but two prestigious awards at this year’s BASA Awards.
Organised by the British Adhesives & Sealants Association (BASA), the awards are the annual celebration of excellence, innovation and impact across the adhesives and sealants sector. This year’s ceremony will take place on Thursday 6th November 2025 at the East Midlands Conference Centre, bringing together leading organisations and individuals to recognise the projects, people and practices that are making a real difference.
Hodgson Sealants has been named a finalist in the Community Engagement category in recognition of our ongoing commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work. From sponsoring and supporting local sports teams to helping individual sporting talents achieve their goals, we believe in giving back and creating opportunities that inspire the next generation.
We are also thrilled that our very own Amy Roulston, R&D chemist, has been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year. Amy has shown incredible dedication, curiosity and drive during her apprenticeship, making her a truly deserving finalist.
Reflecting on her nomination, Amy said:
“It is a huge honour to be shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year – I feel incredibly proud. What’s made this journey so transformative is the amazing support network at Hodgson Sealants. I have been given valuable opportunities to grow, learn and overcome challenges and I always feel lucky to be a part of a team that invests in its people.”
Gary Thomas, Managing Director at Hodgson Sealants, added:
“We are delighted to be shortlisted for two BASA Awards this year. Community engagement has always been central to our values at Hodgson Sealants and seeing Amy recognised for her outstanding contribution makes us immensely proud. These nominations are a reflection of the dedication and passion of our people and we look forward to celebrating with our peers at the awards ceremony in November.”
The BASA Awards are not just a chance to celebrate achievements – they are also an opportunity to raise the profile of our sector, inspire new ideas and showcase the talent that drives us forward. We are proud of our team, grateful to our community and excited to be part of this year’s celebration of the very best in the adhesives and sealants industry.
Congratulations to all the finalists – we look forward to seeing you at the East Midlands Conference Centre on 6th November!
