We’re seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our sealants manufacturing company in Beverley, East Yorkshire. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our products consistently meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations for quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Monitor production processes for compliance with quality standards and address any issues that arise.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with the QHSE Manager to maintain the quality management system, including testing, inspection, and documentation procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the quality control team, ensuring they’re properly trained and equipped.
- Communicate with other departments to address quality control issues promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices and new technologies as appropriate.
- Collaborate with external organisations to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality control and assurance, preferably in the sealants or adhesives industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, procedures, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, including knowledge of ISO standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
