At the heart of the Hodgson Sealants business, the safety and wellbeing of our team is paramount. In testing times for any manufacturing business, Hodgson has announced that it has successfully transitioned its own in-house occupational health and safety management systems to ISO 45001 certification.

ISO 45001:2018 is the international standard, signifying a company with occupational health and safety (OH&S) management systems that provide safe and healthy environments for its workforce, prevent work-related injury and ill health, which strives to improve its OH&S performance proactively. The principals of ISO 45001 have become part of every process at Hodgson, a vital consideration for a growing company with a dedicated, long-serving workforce that is the key to success for this family-owned firm.

“At Hodgson we are all about our people and we have always taken their welfare very seriously”, says Mark Hirst, Head of Operations. “We are delighted that this commitment has been recognised with ISO 45001 certification. The process of gaining the accreditation has been rigorous and given us the impetus to ensure that health and safety is driven right through our business from factory floor to people still working remotely.”
