Hodgson Sealants are proud to have been the main sponsor of the Gumbo Cup, an annual charity golf day which took place on September 7th at Paultons Golf Centre in Hampshire, to raise awareness and funds for mental health charity MIND.
The Gumbo Cup was created in memory of Joff Hutchinson, who sadly took his own life in July 2016. Joff’s brother Chris organised the first event three months later, and it has gone from strength to strength. Since its inception, The Gumbo Cup has raised over £16,000 for mental health charities.
MIND supports people struggling with their mental health, as well as adult carers, and people living with dementia and mild cognitive impairment. One in four people will experience mental health problems at some point, and MIND are there to support and assist, offering a range of services and support networks.
